ZonoSoft

Terms

Last updated 3 November 2026

These terms cover your use of Zono Workforce Suite and Zono Team ("the apps") and your ZonoSoft account. By installing the apps or buying a licence you agree to them. Questions: ZonoSoft@outlook.com.

Free trial

Each business can use the apps free for 30 days from the first time they're opened. After that, rotas, payroll, staff, holidays and clocking can be viewed, printed and exported but not changed until a licence is active.

Licences and payment

  • A licence covers one business and the number of team members shown on it (five are included).
  • Prices: £12 a month or £120 a year per business, plus £2 a month or £20 a year for each extra team member.
  • A licence starts when payment is received and runs to the paid-until date shown in your account. If it isn't renewed, the apps return to read-only; your data is not deleted.
  • You may not share a licence key with other businesses or try to get around the licence checks.

Cancelling

You can stop renewing at any time; the licence runs to the end of the period you've paid for. If you're a consumer, you have the usual 14-day right to cancel a new purchase; by starting to use a paid licence straight away you agree that the service starts within that period.

Your data and your responsibilities

  • Your business's data stays on your devices and your own storage, and you're responsible for it, including keeping backups (the app can make encrypted backups) and telling your staff how their information is used.
  • The apps help you calculate hours, holiday and payroll figures, but you're responsible for checking them before paying anyone and for meeting employment law.

Our responsibilities

We provide the apps with reasonable care and skill and fix faults we're told about within a reasonable time. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the law. Apart from what can't be excluded by law, our total liability to a business customer is limited to the amount paid for the licence in the 12 months before the claim, and we're not liable for loss of profits or data.

Changes

We may update these terms and the apps. We'll show important changes in your account at least 30 days before they take effect.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
